Jenna Garrett, Yoga Teacher
Jenna believes yoga is for everyone. Her teaching invites students to work with their own bodies and abilities—never against them—offering modifications that make every pose accessible and meaningful. With a somatic approach, she guides students to move breath and body together, helping them clear the noise of daily life and return to their true selves. Through steady practice and devotion, she has witnessed—and now helps others witness—the impossible becoming possible, cultivating both confidence and inner peace.
Her journey to yoga began in an unexpected way. A lifelong athlete, she missed the sense of community she once found in sports and, as she entered adulthood, struggled with anxiety and depression. After years of talk therapy, her therapist encouraged her to explore a somatic way to release the weight she carried. Hesitant at first, she started with YouTube videos before her mother gifted her a yoga retreat on Tybee Island. There, she discovered the deep connection, sisterhood, and community she’d been craving.
When she returned home, she committed fully—purchasing a studio membership and immersing herself in practice. In 2022, she encountered the traditional discipline of Ashtanga yoga, a set sequence of postures that quickly became a powerful outlet for processing emotion and finding clarity. Over time, she has studied under senior teachers, traveling to workshops and refining her own voice as a teacher.
Today, Jenna shares the same transformative experience that once opened her heart: a practice where devotion meets movement, where strength and softness coexist, and where every student can discover confidence, connection, and the quiet joy of possibility.
